This list provides a very small number of websites that may meet needs that go beyond the scope of ShareHouse. There are many resources available in your County besides these, should you need extra help locating one, please feel free to email us. We make no guarantees, but we will try to assist you in finding help in any way that we can.

In addition to the resources on this list, you may also find assistance at area places of worship.

 The Dulles South Food Pantry is a multi-faith emergency food pantry. We provide nutritious food, personal supplies and other services to those in need in Dulles South and the surrounding area regardless of income, faith or other criteria and strive to promote self-sufficiency.

The Fairfax County Health and Human Services (HHS) System is a network of county agencies and community partners that support the well-being of all who live, work, and play in Fairfax County.

Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS) http://www.lcsj.org/

The Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter ( or more commonly known as LAWS) provides free, confidential services to adults and children who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.

Assists eligible families with child care and adoption services

Coordinates programs to help older adult residents with shopping, transportation, and housework

Investigates cases of abuse and neglect and conducts family counseling

Offers community employment and training services, including the Workforce Resource Center

Oversees the county’s Youth Shelter and Juvenile Detention Center

Provides foster care for children placed by the court or through official entrustment agreements

Provides nutritional and financial assistance to low-income families

Provides services to help residents in need become self-sufficient members of their families and communities, including helping families achieve safe and affordable housing.

Mobile Hope, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, support children and young adults (24 years of age and younger) who are precariously housed, homeless, or at risk, living in Loudoun County. We create pathways for this fragile, overlooked, and often unacknowledged population to have access to daily essentials and life-changing support.

It Takes a Village, Baby provides essential baby gear, supplies, and resources to families in need while nurturing a spirit of kindness, empathy and respect.

NVFS’ Vehicles for Change program provides qualifying, low-income families with reliable transportation so that they may readily access more job and school opportunities. Vehicles for Change, our partner organization based in the metropolitan D.C. area, provides donated vehicles made road-ready in partnership with local garages.
